The Law Firm’s team is composed of the two legal counsels: Olgierd Gołębiowski and Monika Macura.
Olgierd Gołębiowski, Legal Counsel
He graduated in Law from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University in Cracow and completed his Legal Counsel’s Articles with the District Chamber of Legal Counsels in Cracow. He has served as a legal counsel since 1999. In 2008 he opened a law firm of his own.
He specialises in civil law with a special focus on real estate law, companies law and public procurement law.
He provides comprehensive coverage of real estate transactions, advising Clients at all stages of the investment process. He successfully represents Clients in proceedings to verify and ascertain the legal ownership status of properties and those to prove the invalidity of deeds, including transfer of title to properties.
He advises on public procurement issues. He represents Clients before the National Chamber of Appeal and Common Courts with regard to the award and enforcement of public contracts.
Legal Counsel Olgierd Gołębiowski advises entities in such sectors as construction, real estate, retail and wholesale. Legal Counsel Olgierd Gołębiowski is successful in court proceedings concerning real estate law. In his practice he also represents clients before tax and administrative authorities and Administration Courts.
He also advises in English and Russian.
Monika Macura, Legal Counsel
She graduated in Law from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University in Cracow and completed her Legal Counsel’s Articles with the District Chamber of Legal Counsels in Cracow. She has served as a legal counsel since 2006. In 2012 she opened a law firm of her own.
Legal counsel Monika Macura manages a team of lawyers providing legal services to financial industry players. She provides legal services for domestic and international loan institutions and payment institutions.
Legal counsel Monika Macura advises financial sector players on all aspects of their business, including mergers, acquisitions, transformations and equity investments. She has a practice in the preparation and negotiation of contracts between business partners, company agreements and agreements with special purpose vehicles.
She carries out audits of corporate tax law, in terms of compliance with the law, and recommends appropriate corrective measures, where appropriate.
She advises dynamically developing lending institutions. She advises in development of credit products and the selection of optimal solutions for business development, taking into account the changing legal environment. Legal counsel Monika Macura has represented the payment institution dealing with fast mobile payments in regulatory proceedings before the KNF. She also has advised on the selection of structures for an international lending institution and the implementation of credit products. She also negotiates contracts to provide funding for lending institution.
